Campbell/Harris Security Equipment Company (CSECO) is the home of world-renowned contraband detection tools.
Clients who purchase our products may also want to undergo training on how to use them. The training on the use of the CT-40 Contraband Team Detection Kit, the Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope Inspection System, and the Buster K910G Density Meter are conducted at our office with no charge.
For purchasers who want to conduct the training at their own facilities, CSECO will come to your location to provide the training. We charge a standard training fee for this option.
Training is usually done one day, but it depends on the client’s needs. What does a day of training at CSECO look like?
We train our clients on how to properly use our products, especially without damaging them. Training includes how to properly use the:
- Buster K910G Density Meter
- Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope Inspection System
- CT-40 Contraband Team Detection Kit
In the case of the Buster, we instruct our clients how to tell the difference between normal and abnormal readings (of the density of an object being scanned) on the device. The Perfect Vision Videoscope training includes how to deploy the videoscope into trickier spaces such as gas tanks.
The Perfect Vision V20 is a relative newcomer in CSECO’s roster of contraband detection tools. Trainees learn how to properly insert the shaft into the less accessible areas such small openings or compartments. Training also includes how to capture photos and videos as well as to do general maintenance.
Clients who also purchase the CT-40 Contraband Team Detection Kit will also learn how to use and deploy every tool in the kit as well as the Buster and the Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope.
Typically, the one-day training consists of four hours on the use of the Buster, and another four hours for the Perfect Vision V20 Videoscope and other tools in the CT-40 kit. The other tools include the Leica laser range meter, the PN Series Inspection Probe Kit, and the PM-10 Extension Inspection Mirror with High Intensity Flashlight. This particular training session features photographs of some of the usual anomalies found in vehicles that officers should expect, and established inspection methods.
After completing the training successfully, participants will receive a certificate. The certificate indicates the participant is well-versed on the CSECO contraband detection equipment and enables the participant to train others at their location.
CSECO is also open to provide trainings for clients from other countries. For those who are interested in CSECO’s products and training you can contact us for the details of the training as well as the pricing. CSECO partners with Highway Interdiction Training Specialists (HITS) and Global Counter-Smuggling Training Consultants, LLC which may provide the trainings in your local area.
