Former Soviet Union Customs Authority Has Success with CSECO Contraband Detection Equipment
During a recent training trip to a former Soviet Union country, Damaune Journey, Director of International Sales & Marketing, was able to show Customs Authority personnel how to use the CSECO CT-30 Contraband Detection Team Kit, Buster Density Meter and Fiberscopes. According to Customs Authority personnel, they "have had much success" with the equipment, which is used daily along their borders. The Buster density meter and contraband detector has enabled them to detect illegal cigarettes being smuggled into the country as well as other contraband.
They gave the following feedback after the training: "I can assure you that our expectations for the training were met. Our personnel could take the training as soon as CSECO equipment was bought." Some, according to their report, gained "enough information to safely and effectively use the fiberscope probe . . . as well as different ways to more efficiently use" the Buster Density Meter. The Customs Authority personnel appreciated learning about the equipment including the various teaching methods offered to ensure they understood. The practical knowledge they gained was also highly rated as well as their ability to ask questions and receive answers right away.
