Hinds County Mississippi – April 14, 2013

$547,620 seizure using CSECO CT-30 Contraband Team Kit

The following pictures are of the money seizure a Hinds County deputy made on Interstate 55 in Mississippi on April 14th, 2013. He stopped the vehicle and noticed tooling on the gas tank bolts and the bed bolts. Unable to check the contents of the tank, he contacted me and I responded to his location. Using the CSECO Fiberscope, I viewed the tank's interior and noticed numerous packages of US Currency in heat sealed bags, concealed in the gas tank. The bundles utilized about 3/4 of the tank's space, leaving only 1/4 of the tank's space for fuel. Once the currency was observed, the truck was removed from the side of the road and to our shop, where we accessed the tank, by removing the bed. $547,620 seizure was the results.
