Buster K910B Density Meter
The Buster K910B Density Meter is CSECO’s signature product and one of its very first inventions. It is a product designed due to close collaboration between the company founder, Patrick Campbell, and agents from the US Customs and Border Protection. The major law enforcement agency wanted Campbell to invent a device that could detect the presence of a variety of narcotics and other contraband material quickly, efficiently, accurately, and reliably. Thus, the first prototype was manufactured that would be the world-renowned density meter.
Also known as Buster for short, it uses a low intensity gamma radiation emitter and scintillation detector. Within just a few minutes, inspectors are able to scan for materials (such as narcotics) that are concealed under many types of surfaces that include wood, metal, fabric of varying thicknesses, and reinforced plastic. Unlike the millimeter wave, microwave, radio wave, and ultraviolet detection tools available today, the Buster K910B quickly locates and identifies hidden items without externally destroying the material that is being scanned.
Apart from its ability to detect and identify narcotics, the Buster can also detect other contraband items. It can even effectively and accurately locate the presence of harmful radiation, thanks to Rad-Aware® radiation detection technology.
CSECO also offers the Buster-on-the-Stick with Remote Display. This enables law enforcement and interdiction officers to scan harder-to-reach areas (such as the underside of a truck) as well as reduce inconveniences such as unloading a truck to inspect every crate.
Perfect Vision® V20 Videoscope Inspection System
This is another of CSECO’s most popular products. It comes as a one-piece unit, equipped with a 5-inch, high-resolution LCD VGA display with 3.5x continuous digital zoom, which helps reduce eye fatigue. The Perfect Vision® V20 Videoscope also has the push-button photo and video capture system which has the ability to store up to 8,000 photos and 6 hours of video without the need for attachments. This helps the trained interdiction officer review the images being shown on the display.
Instead of the glass optical fibers that are used in probing more difficult, sneakier areas, the Perfect Vision® V20 Videoscope instead uses video chip technology. This makes the unit have fewer fragile parts. This fuel-proof and water-proof videoscope is also the first videoscope which is certified by the Underwriters Laboratory, making it indeed safe to probe in hazardous areas such as fuel tanks to confirm the presence of narcotics or other contraband.
CT-40 Contraband Team Inspection Kit
In 2014, CSECO launched the upgraded version of the CT-30 Contraband Team Inspection Kit, the CT-40 Contraband Detection Kit. Just like the original, the CT-40 Contraband Detection Kit has all the efficient and dependable equipment and components to help law enforcement and interdiction officers detect the presence the narcotics and a few new additional features.
